Previously, the Department of Peace exported the first batch of 20 tons of fresh sugarcane to the United States on March 19, 2023.
It is reported that Leshan County and Xinle County are two famous fresh sugarcane producing areas. Pushing Heping sugarcane to the world market will help promote the development of the sugarcane industry in Heping Province.
Nguyen Lidai, a representative of Qianyin Trade and Investment Co., Ltd., revealed that the company plans to export 300-500 tons of sugarcane to markets such as South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the European Union this year.
According to a report from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Heping Province, since 2019, sugarcane in the province has not only been sold in multiple domestic areas, but also exported abroad. In 2020, the province exported 5.7 tons of sugarcane to the Japanese market, 74 tons in 2021, and 300 tons in 2022
